[#968] Missing install documentation

Description

Summary:

Detailed description

I pulled my local master branch, which is from August of this year, to the latest version and found a problem. To be sure I had upgraded correctly, I examined the src/INSTALL.TXT file, which points me to https://fusionforge.org/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fusionforge/index.php/Installing. Unfortunately, this page is currently unavailable, which has already been mentioned on https://fusionforge.org/forum/forum.php?forum_id=50. Can the problem be fixed or a dump of the mediawiki database downloaded somewhere so you can read the steps required ?

Currenlty working on mediawiki + debian 11.

Then it seems to be easier to distribute more 3rdparty code with fusionforge.

If I was the only member of Fusionforge, I would host the FusionForge server. But history is different, I'm not the one who host Fusionforge.org server and I have limited access to the hosting facility.

Maybe using another distribution would be an alternative ? We run fusionforge on openSUSE Leap.

Hi,

yes mediawiki is currently broken. And fixing mediawiki is not that easy unfortunately. The current Fusionforge.org installation is now based on debian 11 and it has been upgraded without consideration of mediawiki upgrade nor mailman :-/ Let me try to find a workaround without : fixing the debian 11 testsuite, fixing the debian packaging, fixing the debian package publishing, fixing mediawiki integration...

Sorry for inconvenience
